podarené EP od skupiny Epica. Okrem jednej piesni sú všetky ostatné dosť vydarené. Simone Simons má výborný hlas a zároveň je podporená množstvom kvalitných hostí (napr. Tommy Karevik, Marcela Bovio, Charlotte Wessels, Björn "Speed" Strid, atď.).

Epica play on "The Alchemy Project" album combination of Gothic Metal, Progressive Power Metal & Death Metal. Almost every song has a distinct and unique feel and the band trie to always looking for ways to evolve their sound and grow their audience without losing their core. The best songs are in my opinion "The Final Lullaby", "Wake the World", "The Miner" and "The Great Tribulation".

연금술 프로젝트라는 앨범명대로 다양한 장르의 음악들을 섞음. 음악에 대한 호불호를 떠나 기존의 자리에 안주하지 않고, 자신들의 음악적 범위를 확장하려는 실험정신을 높게 평가. 특히, 기존의 심포닉 메탈이 아닌 제대로 된 멜로딕데스곡 'Human Devastation'은 신선. 기대했던 Fleshgod Apocalypse와의 협연은 오히려 양쪽 모두의 매력을 살리지 못하고 어중간한 편.

이 정도면 Ep가 아니라 정규앨범 수준.. 6번 트랙이 약간 이질적인 실험이라는 느낌이 들기는 하지만 전반적으로 에피카 음악의 진수를 즐길 수 있다

Epica branching out into death metal and even a skosh of black metal! Not as excellent as 2021's Omega, but almost no one else can come close to that. It's an amazing lineup. Did you ever see that South Park episode Super Best Friends?
