Somewhere... is a very good album by Iron Maiden

Another masterpiece from Iron Maiden. Have you ever thought about what a "Back to the Future" style metal album would sound like? We're pretty close to it now. The song material is great, as is the production. Adrian Smith is the main man on this album, responsible for the best solos of his career and many classic songs. Great album, I really miss the 80s. Fortunately, Maiden helps the world's grief.

Hell yeah, I've really missed this album. Heaven can Wait is only Average song, otherwise perfect album.

제가 후기 메이든으로 입문했기 때문인지 전성기의 그 어떤 앨범보다도 마음에 듭니다. 신디사이저는 적재적소에 자연스럽게 녹아들어 있고, 메이든의 아이덴티티를 유지하면서 매우 적절한 변화를 이루어냈습니다. 소위 '틀내'로 요약할 수 있는 과도하게 전통적인 사운드와는 거리가 있어 호불호가 갈릴 수 있겠지만, 저와 같은 리스너에게는 최고네요.

이 앨범은 쟈켓에 맞게 굉장히 미래스러운 사운드를 잘 만들어냈다. 1,2,8은 늘 훌륭한 느낌이고 36년이 된 지금도 촌스런 느낌이 없다. 여전히 powerslave가 아주 내 입맛에 맞는 그것이지만 이 앨범에 대해서는 새로운 사운드를 개척했다는데에 대해서 점수를 주고 싶다. 이게 당시에는 실망스러운 요소가 되었을 수도 있었을텐데 현시점에서는 전혀 흉이 아니다.

1,2,8번 트랙들로 인해 전작 Powerslave보다 더 좋게 듣는 앨범.

A fantastic album from top to bottom. Probably the best guitar tone ever! Not a single weak song. Caught Somewhere in Time is one of my favourite openers. It has two of the best Maiden solos. So does Alexander the Great. Adrian is the MVP of this album with 3 writing credits and this album has his best guitar work, with Stranger in a Strange Land & Wasted Years being his best ever. Also has one of, if not the best album cover ever, which is heavily influenced by Blade Runner.

Classic. Some of the best Maiden songs. Wish it was a tiny less 'produced' with less flange-guitar sound. Otherwise great.

One of the band's best albums. Wasted Years is one of the band's best songs and Alexander The Great is one of the band's most underrated songs. Worth listening to.

캐치하면서 가슴이 웅장해지는 작곡, 감히 넘볼수없는 보컬, 뭐 이런 사기캐가 있나 싶은 앨범.

숨겨진 명반 !! 그리고 최애 Maiden 앨범

일단 구수한 사운드가 귀에 착착 감긴다. 그리고 멋진 앨범 아트워크.

멋진 커버에 어울리는 환상적인 앨범. 달리기 할 때 들으면 힘이 나는 The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, 중독성 있는 후렴구의 Heaven Can Wait를 즐겨 들었으며, 무엇보다 마지막 Alexander the Great는 역시 메이든은 대곡 잘 만든다... 라고 감탄하게 만드는 곡이다. 들으면 알렉산더 뽕이 차오른다...

My most played album #419. Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time. Platinum 1986. Bassist and primary writer Steve Harris but Adrian Smith, wrote both of the album's singles: "Wasted Years" and "Stranger in a Strange Land". Play the whole album! Past Iron Maiden albums include: Killers #8, Number of the Beast #55, Powerslave #125, Paul Di'Anno Killers Murder one #261, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son #179.
