Really underrated, if not the weakest SA album up to that point. Nice progressive stuff, great songs. But uneven and therefore a slightly weaker rating than the previous ones.

Like "Silence", only 1000 times better. The band's absolute best album. Not all the songs are masterpieces, but the best ones are incredible and the atmosphere of the album is epic.

I'm pretty sure this is the best debut in history. Sonata Arctica immediately does what they do best and the result is amazing. "FullMoon" is a great song.

A bit weaker than the previous ones but still great. Stratovarius does things well but doesn't create anything new with "Eternal" which makes the album a bit of a letdown. Still good.

The most highly regarded album by the new line-up and for good reason. The album is amazing! The songs are brilliant and I would say it is the band's catchiest album. A truly amazing piece of almost party metal!

In my opinion, one of the band's best albums. The song material is amazing and the title track is one of the best songs of all time. The last album of drummer Jörg Michael, a really good musician. On this album, the new line-up of Stratovarius found themselves and created an incredible masterpiece, amazing.

Well, it's much better than the previous album. But to be honest, "Polaris" has always been a bit of a boring Stratovarius album. The songs are pretty good and the band does what they can, but if you have to decide which Stratovarius album to listen to, "Polaris" doesn't come to mind at all. I think it was only with the following albums that Stratovarius hit the goldmine, as this was just a rehearsal for the new line-up.
