another great album Paradise Lost. It contains the best elements from their entire work.

전작의 연장선인데 닉 홈즈는 점진적으로 목에 힘을 주면서 새로운 뉴 메탈적인 고딕 사운드에 헷필드적인 창법을 늘려가는 방법으로 밴드의 사운드를 이끌어가고 있다. 이들의 작법이 자리를 잡고 안정된 연주를 들려주고 있다.

The sound of this album is something they immersed themselves in and committed to. It's kinda like Katatonia but harsher and scratchier. It works very well and puts me in a good mood. Back in the 90s I would've thought track lengths like this are totally natural. Now I wish there were a few longer songs. Maybe that's just my quirk....
