One of the first Death Doom albums is pretty rough around the edges. Some evil atmosphere, but nothing really compelling.

갠적으로 좋아하는 스타일. 2집,3집... 중기앨범들보다 좋다. 브루탈데스 앨범 통째로 열번정도 듣다 귀를 시켜주기위해 쓰래쉬나 둠메틀 한번씩 들어줄때 꺼내는 앨범 중 하나. 들을수록 수작이다. 후기 PL 앨범과 함께 주목할 앨범.

둠데스의 전설적 앨범인건 당연하고 오히려 직접적인 고딕메탈들 보다 더 고딕스러운데 즉 둠데스 사운드 위에 근대 유럽에 성행하던 고딕적 분위기를 연상시키는 효과음을 넣는다던가 음악이 그려내는 이미지 또한 그런 부분에 초점을 맞춘 것이다.
