First in Line

Once again, we behold the future behind a cloud
It scares you
Drawn as a beauty
Stained with tainted paint

Once, born is the last of us, and the skies are fawn
Lead me into the brightest light,
Neverending dawn

We've built us a wonder, gone through amazing days
In hindsight
Cloudy ahead, the sky's always clear behind

We shall not scare the children
Cast our phobias atop their joy of life

Every generations every book, every page's
Getting drawn on, burned, but we can save this world
If we move a tad slower

Every open window we are giving to a child
Is how we buy ourselves out of time
We learn or the world will burn

Hope, the future is built on, maybe, albeit the whitest of lies
White lies,
They have a value, serving a purpose

When we guide our children, the future's blinding light
You can lean on
The hope, one day you'll live in the Lighthouse

We shall not scare the children

The views and fears of the unknown
We hide, what we don't know
But we should not tell you there's a party in the black hole

Every generation has a purpose in the circle
Getting drawn on, hurt, yet
We can save this world
If we move on slower

In lack of a silver spoon, maybe we should solve the problems
Now we're the first in line
