요나스 한손은 데뷔 시부터 이미 알려진 기타 히어로였다. 그러므로 세상 유니크하고 숨을 쉬는 듯한 기타 리프와 속주는 1집부터 느낄 수 있다. 특히 1789 aftermath alwaya 로 이어지는 초반 세 트랙의 향연은 그들 특유의 차가우면서도 처연한 정서를 드러내면서도 듣기 좋으며 합 또한 일품이다. 퍼스터딘과 앤더스 요한슨 옌스 요한슨 형제 모두 시작부터 부각된 각 분야의 완성형 인물들이기에.. 뒤로 갈수록 힘이 빠지나 싶다가 마지막 트랙 king of the sea 에서 멋지게 닫기에, 전체적으로도 괜찮다.
유일한 문제는, 전문 싱어를 쓰지 않고 요나스 스스로가 보컬을 맡았다는 부분인데, 아직 목이 새거라 힘이 느껴지지만 확실히 아마추어 느낌이 드는건 감상의 마이너스 요소이다.
