웰컴앨범과 같이 구매했던 '블랙메틀'. 웰컴앨범의 그 질감이 그대로 연결되는 작품. 내가 예닐곱살때 저너머 세상에서 이런 음악이 있었다는게 기가 막히기도 함.^^;
바쏘리나 켈틱프로스트등과 같이 블랙메틀의 초기 틀을 구축했다고 합디다만 아무래도 베놈이 시기도 그렇고 더 앞섰다고 생각합니다. 성대를 틀어막은 듯 특별한 고저없이 밀어부치는 보컬이나 노이즈를 잔뜩 입힌 기타톤 기관차같은 드러밍은 베놈의 매력이라 생각합니다. 첫곡도 좋고 특히 세번째곡의 음산한 인트로에 후반부의 가속도는 개인적으로 좋아하는 포인트입니다.^^;
