어김없이 이때다 싶으면 나오는 Behemoth의 EP로 벌써 5번째가 된다. 기존 곡과 신곡, 역시나 빠지지 않는 Cover Song 그리고 Live Track으로 채워졌다.
[Demigod]의 인기 수록곡 'Slaves Shall Serve'와 전작을 그대로 계승한 신곡 'Entering the Pylon ov Light'. 영국 Industrial Death Metal밴드 Nefilim의 곡 'Penetration', 미국 Heavy Metal밴드 Danzig의 인기곡 'Until You Call on the Dark' 두 곡이 Cover 되었는데 나름 괴리감이 느껴질 만큼의 장르나 스타일이 아니라서 Behemoth식 사운드로 잘 만들어진 것 같다. Live Track이야 그냥 꼽사리라고 생각하면 되는 수준이다. "기존곡 + 신곡 + Cover + Live" 공식으로 EP가 계속 나오고 있는데 굳이 이렇게 만들어 내야할 필요성이 있는가 싶기도 하지만 꿋꿋하게 나오는 걸 보면 나름 이런 방식을 선호하는 것 같다. 뭐 이런식으로 EP를 내는 건 나쁘진 않지만 Cover Song 선곡이 조금 더 임팩트가 강하면 확 끌리는 맛이라도 있을텐데... 그게 아쉽다. 그래도 저번 EP보다는 낫다.

틈틈히 끼어있는 베헤모스의 EP를 틈틈히 찾아듣는 재미란 꽤나 쏠쏠합니다. 주기적으로 한장씩 꺼내어 들어보기에 적당합니다. 폴란드가 메탈 변방 이미지를 벗어버리게 한것에 지대한 영향을 끼친 뮤지션들중, 거대한 한축을 굳건히 담당하는 이들, 그 영향력이 힘껏 뿜어져 나옵니다. 커버곡에 라이브까지 넣어서 팬들이 좋아할수밖에 없는 행보만 보입니다.

정규 앨범 발매 사이에 선보이는 이들의 EP반은 팬들에게 항상 소소한 즐거움을 준다. 정규반에서 느끼지 못했던 부분과 이들이 평소에 잘 보여주지 않았던 부분까지 양념처럼 잘 버무러져 있다.
