Bruce Dickinson's first album in the band also marks the birth of the band's first masterpiece. Despite the two clearly weaker songs ("Invaders", "Gangland"), it is an incredibly strong and versatile piece of art, where Dickinson's wonderful vocal performance is the icing on the cake. I'm not saying it's the band's best work, but definitely one of the best, and everyone's general education includes knowing TNOTB by heart. Great job guys, Up The Irons!

명실상부 아이언 메이든이라는 밴드 역사상 최고의 명반. 20대도 안된 젊은 사람의 귀에는 조금 흔히 말하는 "틀딱" 사운드가 있어서 가장 좋아하는 음반의 축에 속하지는 않지만, NWOBHM에서 가장 중요한 앨범 중 하나임에는 분명하다.

A classic with a capital k. Not perfect, but rarely are the classics. "Hallowed Be Thy Name" is one of the best songs of all. An incredible debut for Dickinson, isn't it?

Definitely one of the most iconic and significant albums in all of metal music, including real classics. Still not the band's best in my opinion, although we are close. Great job, Dickinson's inclusion had a significant impact.

본격적인 아이언 메이든 사운드의 시발점. 뭘 들어도 좋다. hallowed be thy name은 본인 아이언 메이든 최고의 곡이다. 이리 봐도 저리 봐도 좋은 앨범.

One of the most iconic metal albums. Would have been a better album if Gangland was removed. Best tracks: Hallowed be Thy Name, Number of the Beast and Run to the Hills. Hallowed be Thy Name is probably the best metal song I've heard. Maiden's SSOASS and Powerslave are better than this album as the songs are more consistent on those albums.

매체에서 역대 최고의 헤비메탈을 뽑으면 Top5나 Top3에 들어가곤 하는 명반. 장난아닌 베이스 사운드가 이끄는 질주감이 일품. 단순히 달리기만 하는 것이 아니라 Iron Maiden 특유의 프로그레시브한 곡 진행으로 지루할 틈을 주지 않음.

아이언메이든은 헤비메탈의 화신이다. 완벽한 짜임새의 곡들이 정신을 못차리게 한다. 이유있는 명반!! The Prisoner 같은 곡도 계속 들어보니 엄청 좋다.
