시작부터 거론할께 있다면 그리스?에서 나온 대단한 밴드라기 보다는 차라리 고급스러운 중세블랙메틀 사운드의 발전을 이루었다고 해야할지도 모르는 밴드의 넉터니티의 2집입니다.상당히 걸작으로 불리워지면 1집에서의 공격적?에서 약간 다양화로 약간의 유턴을 했지만,오히려 복잡하면서도 자연스럽게 이어지는 리프가 상당히 높게 보이며 특히 유연하게 완급되는게 아주 인상적으로 다가왔습니다.고속에서 저속 저속에서 다시 고속 쉽게 말하는 이런식이지만 멜로딕컬함은 부자연스럽다?에서 조절에 의한 자연스러움으로 발전됐다는 것에서 상당히 수작으로 보입니다.

지글거리는 리프에 미미한 키보드를 얹은 엣머스페릭의 전형적인 사운드중에 하나..인데 나쁘지는 않다. 이후로 이런 아류가 좀 많이나와서 그 뒤로는 다 비슷하게 들림.. forteresse? 생각도 나고

인터뷰에서 엠페러 1집의 직접적 영향을 받았다고 말한만큼 2,4번곡에선 그런 느낌이 물씬 난다. 곡들도 괜찮다. 하지만 그뿐이고 나머지 곡들의 지루한 전개는 어쩔거냐. 왠지 먼가가 돼다 만듯한 앨범이고 키보드도 지글대느 ㄴ리프의 백킹에 머문다.
