Reconozco que me ha costado volver a oír a Slipknot, lo dejé abandonado hace tiempo. Quizá por eso me ha sorprendido gratamente oír este "All Hope is gone". Mejor de lo que esperaba.

전반부트랙들 (2~6번)은 최고다. 다만 중반에 힘빠지는 트랙들이 앨범 전체 감상에 영향을 끼친다. 그래도 마무리가 괜찮고, 레코딩 상태는 3집에 이어 4집도 아주 깔끔하다.

초기 1-2집의 광폭한 사운드는 사라졌지만 작곡센스가 좋은 시절에 나온 앨범이기도 하고 이때 유행하던 메탈코어 느낌도나서 크게 지루하진 않았다

A confusing album with very heavy songs like as all hope is gone, some depressing songs like snuff, some great songs like psychosocial and has a lot of filler in between.

4집이라 그런지 Gematria, Sulfur, This Cold Black, All Hope Is Gone 딱 이 4곡 외에는 귀에 안들어온다. 타이틀곡인 Psychosocial은 멜로디도 보컬도 이전 앨범 Duality의 살짝 업그레이드 버젼처럼 느껴져서 반감만 들뿐.

저를 락 메탈의 세계로 데려다주신 앨범입니다. 중딩때 우연히 유튜브에서 psychosocial 뮤비를 보게 됬는데 그 이후로 슬립낫만 주구장창 듣고 자랐습니다. Psychosocial 100번은 들어본거같은데 아직까지도 질리지 않고 대가리를 흔들어 재낄수있습니다

전작들이 좀 과하다 싶었던(물론 그게 이들의 최대 매력 일 수도 있지만) 나같은 사람들에겐 차라리 이 음반이 더 들어줄만 하다!

한 2-3년 전에는 이 앨범을 듣는다는건 상상도 할수 없는 일이었는데 지금은 잘만 듣는다. 4,5,9번 트랙이 들을만함. 그리고 난 예전에 실연당한 사연이 있었던 찰나에 11번 트랙을 듣고 위로가 많이 되었고 슬립낫을 다시 돌아봤다. 정말 뜻깊기도 한 앨범.

슬립낫 특유의 그루브메탈간지는 메틀은 듣는 그 누구에게나 대단한 매력으로 다가온다. 다만 그 짧은 몇 초를 위해 토탈 러닝타임의 대부분을 채우기식으로 넣는 경우가 있는데 이 엘범에서 특히 그러한 부분이 많이 노출된다.
