"Black Diamond" was the first Stratovarius song I heard along with "Hunting High And Low". What could be said about the song? Perhaps you could describe the structure or quality of the song, but it's pointless. The most important thing is to understand that this is possibly the best song of all time, full of interesting instrumental sections and divine vocals. You shouldn't ask for anything else. No power-metal band can ever do better than this, I'm sure.

약 15년 전 처음 듣자마자 번갯불 스치듯 머리를 강타한, 그만큼 충격적이었던 명곡이자 입문곡. 랩소디에 빠져 있던 나에게 요한슨의 차가운 북유럽 감성 키보드 선율과 코티펠토의 쭉 뻗어나가는 고음, 톨키의 환상적인 솔로는 귀를 사로잡았고, 어른이 된 지금까지도 이들의 음악을 찾아듣고 CD를 사게 만들고 있다. 그래서 감히 점수를 매길 수 없다...
