album "American Hardcore" predstavovalo v štýle a sounde kapely výraznú zmenu. Kapela poriadne pritvrdila, predstavila nového speváka s ukričanejším, aj keď stále často melodickým prejavom (Chris Van Dahl) a svoj Hard Rock doplnila o Groove prvky a Grunge -ové pasáže. Nemôžem napísať, že je to metalové album ale má aj tieto prvky a predstavovalo v štýle kapely výraznú zmenu.

90년대 중반 얼터너티브 영향받은 앨범을 내던 메탈밴드들 그래도 이해는 했으나 이 앨범은 무슨 생각으로 만들었는지 끝내 이해하지 못했습니다. 마지막 트랙은 조금 들어줄만함ㅋ

갑자기 판테라가 되어 돌아온 엘에이 건즈. 크게 나쁘게 듣지는 않고 재미나거나 헤비해서 맘에 드는 트렉도 있었으나, '이 때 이들이 이래서는 안되었었다.' 고 여전히 생각한다. Chris Van Dahl 이라는 인물의 보컬은 의외로 출중하다. 3~7번으로 이어지는 중반부는 정말 뛰어나다.
