정통 유럽의 멜로디는 동양과 맞지 않는다는 것을 보여주는 좋은 예시. 뭔가 음을 만들어 내는 듯 한데 아름답지 않고 이상하다는 느낌을 준다. 하지만 데뷔작부터 촘촘하고 강력하며 실력은 수준급임을 알 수 있다.

유럽의 드림 시어터라는 별칭을 가진 반덴 플라스의 데뷔작. 이전 세대 프로그레시브 메탈의 유산들을 일부 가져다 쓰면서도 독자적인 멜로디 감각을 가미하며 안정적인 사운드를 보여준 훌륭한 데뷔작입니다. Push, Judas처럼 파워 메탈적인 감각이 두드러지는 트랙 대비 Soul Survives나 How Many Tears처럼 드림 시어터류의 감각이 두드러지는 트랙이 공존합니다.
