밴드의 장르태그만 보고서는 블랙에 스피드..? 이럴수가 있나? 싶었는데 들어보니 그 이유를 알겠다. Midnight의 음악에서는 보컬과 가사 빼고는 공격성이 스래시메탈만큼도 느껴지지 않는다. 악기의 사운드만 듣는다면 100중에 100 스피드/헤비메탈이라 할 것이다. 하지만 재밌는 점은 공격적이고 사악한 보컬과 시원하게 달리는 연주가 꽤나 잘 어울린다는 것이다. 비유하자면 신나는 버전의 Goatlord같달까. 내 취향은 오히려 이쪽에 가깝다. 참 재미있는 밴드와 앨범이다. 91점.
