호주 출신의 프록멜데스 밴드인 Elysian의 데뷔 앨범. 유러피언 메탈에서 벗어나 있으면서도 충분히 유럽적인 음악을 들려주고 있다. 동시에 그들만의 독특한 색채도 묻어나고 있다. 스웨덴의 In Mourning과 상당히 유사한 코드 진행과 연주기법을 들려주는데, 심지어 어두침침한 분위기마저 닮아있기도 하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그들과는 다른 점이 분명히 있다는 것에 주목할 필요가 있다. 쓸데없이 곡을 늘리는 행위는 하지 않으며, 기타의 테크니션이 정통데스메탈 마냥 무자비하게 몰아치고 있다. Djent로 빠지지 않은 채 멜로디를 살리면서 이렇게 몽환적인 분위기를 낼 수 있다는 것이 놀랍기만 하다. 장르 특성상 곡들간의 유기성이 상당히 높아서 앨범 전체를 감상하기에 편하나, 특별한 킬링트랙을 찾기가 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 굳이 따지자면 The Climb From Fear, Conquest와 마지막 트랙 A Cry From Helplessness 정도가 될 수 있겠다. 그다지 짧지 않은 러닝타임이지만 리버브와 에코를 넣은 배경리프/멜로디가 트랙마다 선을 보이고 있어서 청자입장에서 완급조절이 가능하다.
