수작입니다. Interlude 격인 3번 트랙을 제외한 앨범 전체적으로, 트레몰로 리프를 적극적으로 차용해 전작들보다 포크적 색채는 옅어지고, 앳머스페릭 블랙 혹은 자살블랙에서 주로 느낄 수 있는 어둡고 음산한 분위기를 강조한 앨범입니다.
2번 트랙은 괄목할 만합니다.

이 정도면 매너리즘이다. 이 앨범이 데뷔반이었다면 이 정도의 관심을 받는 밴드는 못 됐을 것 같다. 1집이 85점, 2집이 90점이라면 이 앨범은 70점.

viking, melodic black 메탈 앨범 중에서 역대 최고 음반이라고 생각한다. Fagning과 on the mountain of goats는 그중에서도 압권이다. Valfar가 요절하지 않고 계속해서 음반을 냈다면 바이킹 메탈계의 opeth가 됐을 것이라고 믿는다.
