낮게 깔려버린 보이스+미들템포성 단순한 전개 와 더불어 상당히 독특한 음색이 좋았던 Archgoat 데뷔앨범 입니다.보이스가 특이하다?라는건 상당히 데쓰한 보이스도 아니면서도 뭔가 묵직한 보이스가 블랙메틀이라고 보기엔 상당히 힘들지만,신선하다?라고 할 정도로 마치  Desolation Triumphalis - Forever Bound To Nothingness 랑 비슷한 면도 살짝 보입니다.미들템포성 상당히 탁한 느낌이 나는 전개와 특히 웅얼거리는 보이스가 상당히 무거운 느낌이 나도록 하는 전체적인 분위기를 만듭니다.

사운드만 열악하다고 좋은 블랙메탈인 것은 아님. 아직 미숙하지만, 그래도 이후에 훌륭한 음악을 들려줌.

데쓰나 쓰래쉬 30년 넘게 들었는데요 다른 좋은거 놔두고 이딴 사운드가 왜좋은지 모르겠는데 아 뭔가 진짜 좋아요. 이것은 어렸을때 이발소에 가면 풍기던 찝찝하지만 묵직한 아저씨 향기 같은 사운드랄까요

육중하게 나가다가 달리는 부분에서 아주 미칠듯한 광기가 보입니다. 낮게 으르렁거리는 지옥의 보컬이 압권입니다. 극다운된 기타가 앨범 전반에 걸쳐 모든걸 뭉개버립니다. 지독하고 광분하는 사운드를 좋아하시면 만족감 100프로 봅니다.

Amazing War Metal album here, imagine a teeny bit refined version of Fallen Angel of Doom. I had a period in my life where I would only listen to this album 24/7, all week.

이런 보컬이 정말 좋다. 지루함은 없지않았지만 러닝타임이 짧은 관계로 큰 문제는 안 되었다.

개인적으로는 이상하게 이들과 black witchery를 비교하게 돼는데 늘 이들을 밑에두었다. 앨범을 구해 집중해 들어보니 중저음의 보컬과 미들템포의 진행이 정말 어둡고 사악하다! 블랙/데스가 다 때려부수는것만이 능사가 아니다.
