The perfect album when it comes to showing people what new metal sounds like. Everything is done with an amazingly high level of quality. Courtney is amazing with the vocals as always, showing more range with her cleans. The guitar and drums work perfectly with it as well, either exploding in your face when she’s angry or flowing along when it’s a more melodic tone. Overall a solid metalcore album. Especially considering it came out in 2020. Some of the best and most fun riffs of the past few years, but that’s to be expected from them. Well written songs and really solid screams. However, the cleans can be spotty at times, and the transition between them can be weird. This is the crabcore album for metal heads. It doesn’t lean into its crabby brother too hard (no auto tune on the choruses, electronics relatively muted) but it keeps a unique Identity. It almost feels like a sequel to Someday Came Suddenly because they’re very similar, but with Stand Up And Scream just better in most facets. Great drum work, very early 2010s guitars, with Danny throwing in an amazing vocal performance.   Jan 11, 2024

85-90, 예전에 빽판으로 즐기던 음반. 운이 좋게 다시 시디로 구입하게 들어보게 되었다. 지금 이 시점에서는 좋게 들렸고 시원시원했다. 녹음은 거칠긴 하나 가끔 너무 갑갑한 믹싱이 되어 있는 메탈음반이 많은데 차라리 이런 식으로 만드는게 낫다 싶다. 1,2집도 언제인가는 구해지지 않을까 생각해본다.   Oct 30, 2024

어쿠스틱 기타, 첼로, 플루트 등을 이용하여 녹음한 어쿠스틱 사운드의 작품이다. 그러나 표현하고자 하는 사운드의 방향성 자체는 무겁고 진지하다. 멜로디가 약간 서늘한 냉기를 품고 있다. 더운 여름에 들으면 시원함을 느낄 수도 있지만 대체로 가을의 분위기에 잘 어울린다. 커버아트와 음악의 매칭이 절묘하다.   Nov 4, 2024

90-95. 이 시기의 블가 앨범들은 다 좋은 듯. hansi의 보컬을 더 느끼고 싶어서 사모으기 시작한 앨범인데 그렇다고 나랑 맞는 음악을 하는 밴드가 아닐 수 있었지만 지금까지 몇번들어본 결과는 만족스러운 행진 중이다. the eldar같은 곡은 지금의 나에게는 최고의 곡. 인트로+본곡 같은 스타일로 중복이 되는데 큰 단점같지는 않다. 조화롭게 잘 넘어갔다.   Nov 8, 2024

80-90. 메킹 커멘트를 보고 얼라이브를 베스트 대용으로 해도 된다는 의견에 2,3를 사게 되었는데 1,3에만 rock and roll all nite가 있다는 것을 다시 여기서도 알립니다. 이번에 사게된 앨범이 일본반 shm-cd 규격인데 음질이 나쁜게 아니지만 2보다는 살짝 거친게 아닌가 싶다. 아직까지는 얼라이브 시리즈+일반 스튜디오 베스트 조합으로 끝낼 생각.   Nov 6, 2024

훌륭한 데뷰. 1집을 꼭 사야 할까라는 생각으로 살다가 이제야 얻어걸린 느낌으로 사게 되었다. 물론 1집을 필수라고 여기지 않았지만 후회도 없다. 보컬이 멤버들보다 나이가 10여살 많은 걸로 기억하고 게디리의 좀 더 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각이 든다. 다만 믹싱이 마음에 들지 않아서 살짝 밋밋하다. 보컬과 드럼이 살짝 뒤로 간 느낌.리믹스가 절실하나 과연?   Nov 7, 2024
