이 앨범도 좋긴 좋다. 대부분이 볼린과 커버데일의 공동작곡으로 만들어졌다. 매번 들을때마다 잼있다고 생각하는 것은 8번이 글렌 휴즈 곡인데 본인 솔로때도 그렇지만 커버데일이 마지노선이라고 생각한다면 글렌의 펑키하고 흑인적인 감각은 락커로서 과한게 아닌가 싶기도 하다.물론 좋다! 하지만 이건 딥퍼플이 아니지 않냐? 라고 말한다면 역시 고개를 끄

올드하면서도 끈적한 하드록 블루스... 기존 딥퍼플과 워낙 사운드가 다르다보니 90점 이상 주기는 힘들지만, 충분히 완성도 있는 작품이다. 중독성 있는 리프의 7번 트랙과 1, 5, 9번도 추천

정말 훌륭한 앨범이나 기존 딥퍼플의 음악과는 사뭇 다른 사운드로 인해 딥퍼플 팬들에게 저평가 된 앨범이다. 나는 이런 쫙쫙 늘어지는 블루지 스타일도 너무 좋아해서 즐거웠다.

3,7,10이 주요곡들이고 개인적으로는 4,8,9도 좋아함. 전작의 결과물을 좋아하지 않던 리치는 나가버렸고 나머지 멤버들은 또다른 뛰어난 뮤지션이자 지금은 고인인 토미볼린을 데려왔음. 그와 함께 만든 4기의 처음이자 마지막 앨범

타미볼린. 운도 지지리도 없다. 진짜... 좋은 앨범이지만, 딥퍼플이란 이름엔 어울리지 색깔의 명반이라 생각.
