각 파트별 조금 덜 다듬어진 감. Immolation 의 2집 입니다. 공백기가 길어서 인지 약간 늘어지는 면도 있으면서 짧지만 조잡하다는 게 흠이면 흠이지만, 응집력은 오히려 더 좋아진것 같다는게 저의 생각입니다. 난해하지만 때론 일관성 있고 그 역으로 전개되는 굴곡을 보이는 모습에서 세련된 감을 잡는 것도 있지만 약간 그들만의 색깔을 잡기위한 전초전의 앨범의 성격도 있습니다. 특히 트윈기타니깐 다양한 리듬변화며 그외 파트가 쏠리는 것을 잡아주는 역할도 하는 편이며 때론 산만한 면도 있습니다.

이몰레이션의 매력은 역시 드라마틱한 전개보다는 간석기처럼 부드럽게 깎아낸 사운드가 아닌가 싶다. 90점.
