스피드와 파워를 이제 막 표방하기 시작했던 70년대에 이 정도 메탈이라면 납득이 갔을터인데, 극악무도 스래쉬의 최흉 전성기 88년도에 이렇게 나온거면 이건 좀 생각을 해보게 만듭니다. 만듦새가 그렇게 별로인것도 아닌데 감상하는 곳곳에서 아쉬움이 묻어나옵니다. 그냥 에라모르겠다 헤드뱅잉 해대기에는 적절한데 악곡의 온전한 감상면에서는 떨어집니다.

Myslel som si, že som už albumy od anglickej skupiny Sabbat recenzoval, ale ako vidím, nestalo sa tak. Sabbat sú predstaviteľmi Thrash Metal -ovej scény, pričom na ich dvoch najvýznamnejších albumoch spieval Martin Walkyier, ktorý bol neskôr známi hlavne z pôsobenia v skupine Skyclad. Hudba na debutovom albume je tvrdá, ale zároveň aj pestrá s podarenými nápadmi. Jednoznačne odporúčam.

"History of a Time To Come” is one of the most impressive Speed/Thrash Metal albums of its day. This is a dark, serious, spiteful record. The band sounded faster, tighter and more venomous than ever before. Martin Walkyier's vile, aggressive, but still melodic vocal style is the perfect vehicle to steer the endless cavalry of well-constructed, intense riffing. And in Andy Sneap we have an excellent guitar player, who showcases his skills with great gitar riffs.

2집보다는 조금 부족하지만 영국제 파괴 스래쉬의 명반이다. Andy Sneap의 기타는 단순 리프메이킹이 아니라 적재적소에서 멜로디를 끌어내는 탁월함이 보인다.
