Sadus na albume "A Vision of Misery" pokračujú v priamočiarom Thrash Metal -e s prvkami Death -u, ale oproti predošlým dvom radovým albumom je na albume výraznejšie počuť basu Steve DiGiorgio -a a jeho technické vyhrávky, zároveň aj keď je album rýchle, tak v určitých momentoch využíva aj stredno tempové pasáže.

분명 잘 만든 앨범이고 더 테크니컬해진 측면도 있지만 1,2집의 막나가는 독기가 좀 빠져나간 느낌이다. 그 독기만 유지가 되었다면 대작이 되었을 것이란 아쉬음이 든다. 82점.

꽤 많은 것을 잘 갖추고 있는 사운드네요. 허접해보이는 앨범커버 때문에 선입견을 가지고 들었는데, 의외로 알찬 내용물에 제법 흥미롭게 감상 하였습니다. 살벌한 스래쉬 사운드에서 템포를 수시로 조절해가며 데스메탈과 테크니컬의 진면목 만을 추출해내 잘 발라준 사운드가 마치 나무껍질속 찐득한 진액 마냥 흘러내립니다. 개성은 없어도 근본은 챙긴작품.

공격적이고 거칠면서도 꽤 유려한 솔로 (테크니컬이란 말을 붙일만 한)와 베이스 라인이 아주 좋다. 전작을 들어보지 못한 관계로 비교는 어렵지만 충분히 80년대 후반~90년대 초반 데스래쉬의 명반대열에 올라갈 만 하다고 생각된다.
