NWOBHM Album Top 10

제가 좋아라하는 NWOBHM 앨범 중 10개 골라봤습니다. 좋아하는 앨범부터 작성했습니다.

역시 헤비메탈이 좋네요 짱짱

1. Iron Maiden - The Number of Beast

가장 처음 들었던 헤비메탈 앨범이자 좋아하는 앨범 Top 10에 들 정도로 매우 좋아하는 앨범입니다.

2. Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations

Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations cover art

NWOBHM의 보석 그자체인 "Lightning to the Nations" 앨범입니다. 가장 유명한 곡인 AM I EVIL?을 제외하고도 모든 트랙에 높은 점수를 주고 싶은 앨범이자 시간가는 줄 모르고 들었던 앨범입니다.

3. Satan - Court in the Act

한번 듣고 반한 앨범입니다. 빠른 리프, 멜로디, 기타 솔로, 보컬 모두 훌륭한 이 사기적인 앨범에 대해서 말하자면 입이 아픈 수준입니다.

4. Venom - Welcome to Hell

베놈 이전에 이렇게 노골적이게 사탄을 찬양한 밴드가 있었냐고 물어본다면 "예" 라고 대답하겠지만 이렇게 사악한 음악을 하는 밴드가 있었냐고 물어본다면 "아니오"라고 대답할 것같습니다.

5. Angel Witch - Angel Witch

음악은 물론 앨범 커버까지 좋아하는 앨범으로 NWOBHM의 기본을 보여주여 중요한 자리를 차지하는 앨범이기도 합니다.

6. Grim Reaper - See You in Hell

헤비한 음색과 힘찬 보컬이 어우러진 NWOBHM의 명작입니다. 타이틀 트랙인 첫 곡부터 최고 수준을 자랑합니다.

7. Demon - The Unexpected Guest

과격하지 않고 듣기 좋은 헤비메탈로 구성되어 있어 기분 전환할 때 자주 듣는 앨범입니다.

8. Saxon - Crusader

색슨 최고의 앨범이라고 불러도 손색이 없는 앨범입니다.

9. Tank - Honour & Blood

정말 이름값하는 밴드인 탱크의 4집입니다. 모터헤드 느낌이 배어있는 시원한 리프로 채워진 앨범입니다.

10. Satanic Rites - Which Way the Wind Blows

최근에 알게된 앨범으로 전형적인 NWOBHM이지만 멜로디와 보컬의 깨끗한 음색으로 돋보이는 숨은 진주같은 앨범입니다.

		2,3,4집도 좋지만 색슨의 색채가 강한 하드록을 돋보이게 한 이 앨범이 최고 명반이라고 생각합니다..
