데스코어 한 10년 이상 된 밴드. 아니면 그 이하도 안된 밴드들 보면 나중에 스타일이 느슨해지거나 아니면 심포닉한 색채를 첨가하는 등. 점점 데뷔 때와는 확연히 음악을 들려주는데 반면. Impending Doom은 17년 동안 순혈 데스코어로만 유지 중 이다. 그렇 다고 늘 똑같은 패턴은 아니고 그냥 데스코어 범주 안에서만 약간의 변화만 줬을 뿐. 순수 데스코어의 명맥을 이어가고 있다.
