Metallica의 프로듀서로 유명한 Flemming Rasmussen을 기용해 완성한 Blind Guardian의 다섯 번째 앨범 Imaginations From The Other Side 이다. 사운드의 질감, 멜로디등에서 진보를 이루어냈으며, 한층 더 폭발적인 스피드와 테크니컬함을 들려준다. 그로테스크한 독일적인 이미지는 여전하며, 두터운 코러스를 전면으로 내세운 특유의 드라마틱한 전개는 상당한 감동을 안겨준다. Blind Guardian 최고 명반중 하나로, 엄청난 스피드에 파워풀한 코러스가 돋보이는 I'm Alive, 체념적인 다짐을 듣는 듯한 And The Story Ends등 전곡에서 수준급의 완성도를 접할 수 있다.
