In Requiem

전작을 시작으로 더 예술적인 악곡과 닉 홈즈의 헷필드적인 보이스를 조금씩 더해가면서 앨범의 완성도를 높여가는 밴드의 노력이 확실히 느껴진다.

I've heard a few of their albums so far, and this one surprised me in it's beauty, passion, and thoughtful songwriting. By my standards, this is very commercial, but it does that without feeling phony. The vibes and tone remind me a lot of the Load and Reload albums by Metallica plus some gothic highlights. However, I feel this is somewhat better than those 2 Metallica albums. In Requiem is totally one I'll remember.

Blown away! The title song is to me their soundtrack. At least 9 bone chilling songs on the album.

정통 고딕

처음 접하는 이들의 작품이다. 내가 생각했던 것과 차이가 많이 나서 좀 당황스럽다. 그래도 밴드자체의 고유성이 확고하다는 것을 느낄 수 있었고 이들만의 색채를 이해할 수 있었다. 무거운 느낌과 함께 간간히 터지는 멜로딕함이 일품이다.

내가 생각했던 고딕메탈과는 상당히 다른 느낌이다. 확실히 좋은 음반이긴하나. 뭔가 강렬한 비장미라던지 서정성이 부족하다.

눈오는날 듣기 딱좋다. 눈감고 들으면 그냥 눈내리는 풍경이 그려진다

고딕의 선구자답다..

고전하다가 대박 하나 뽑아준

PL은 이 앨범을 통해 처음 접하는 건데, 역시 명성 그대로군요. 5.Requiem 추천

캬 비장미 넘치는 멜로디가 살아있다. 고딕의 시조이면서도 안주하지 않고 계속 발전중!
