Holy crap this was an amazing listen. This album crushes your cochlea in a 20 minute span. If there weren't any talking parts debasing the stream of frenzy, I certainly would've given a much higher rating. Jun 16, 2015

These guys make fun, non-serious grindcore and this is a really enjoyable album if you wanna get into these guys. Jun 16, 2015

To be frank, if tracks 3 and 5(which are a bit boring) were on a different album, I would've given this album a 95. Who would have known that traditional Earth-y songs with a bit of speed will turn out so amazing? As a person who digs stoner/sludge/doom, this album definitely met my standards. Jun 15, 2015

Drone metal pioneers, Earth, have quite a few good drone releases. However, this 30-minute EP album contains everything they've done pre-HEX. Droning, seemingly never-ending riffs, reeeealy slow progression, extremely heavy guitars all are Earth's signature sound. It takes the right mood and attention for a proper listen, but in the end it'll pay. Jun 15, 2015

This is such a cool album. This guy, Joe, actually knows how to talk using the guitar. Satriani's cool guitar sounds will drive you on a real surf with the alien, so make sure to give this one a listen! Jun 14, 2015

I was floored by this live performance. I didn't know how amazing Chuck was live. His dialogues inbetween songs are cool to listen to. It seems that Chuck really wanted to communicate with the audience. Overall a superb live record! Jun 14, 2015

These guys make really really good brutal thrash. This album incessantly tries to rip out your eardrums, and you'll love it. Jun 14, 2015

A classic Black Metal album by the legendary duo Darkthrone. I'm not the biggest fan of Black Metal, but upon listening I knew for a fact that this album is pretty damn sick. Raw and crude as heck. Jun 14, 2015

The Deathalbum marks the first release from the fictitious melodeath(melodeth?) band Dethklok from the TV series Metalopocalypse. For a semi-joke band, though, this album is pretty damn good. Aside from the lyrics that poke fun at the stereotypes/clichès of Metal, it's quite a solid album full of well-composed headbangable songs. Pretty fucking brutal. Jun 14, 2015

Amazing for a debut album. Brutal as fuck drumming, ripping guitars, crazy basswork mixed with indecipherable schizophrenic barks mark one of the best albums that BDM has to offer. Jun 13, 2015

What an amazing album. It's dark and gloomy and so mesmerizing. It took some time to get used to, but after a few listens it occured to me that this album was full-blown awesomeness. Jun 12, 2015

Death n' Roll is kinda my cup of tea. That being said, I'd like to note that this album has everything that the subgenre has to offer. It's just plain amazing. Jun 12, 2015

They've got that streak of inspiration still going! Take a look at the lyrics, they're deep and profound. The melodies? Still wrenching your heart. My point is, Rush is a beastly band and you should listen to this. Jun 11, 2015

Yeah! Rush gone synth: yet again proves to be just as terrific as non-synthed albums. Every track's perfect once again. Jun 11, 2015

Geddy Lee's a mastermind of multitasking; give that man a bass, a synth and a mic and he'll pump out an amazing album like this one. Overall a pretty drastic change of style, still they nail it better than the guy who crucified Jesus. Jun 11, 2015

While it is kind of a good album, it certainly doesn't click like other Melodeath albums. Maybe a bit of creative juices will help? Jun 11, 2015

A very decent Stoner album quite reminicent of early Remission-era Mastodon. If you dig it, you're bound to like this one. Though there's nothing new that they've done, I must say they've got some killer riffs and badass songs. Jun 10, 2015

Nov 4, 2024

Their most representative album of the eighties, full of innovation and class, with forceful themes and a benchmark in style for the hard rock genre, in fact it is their best-selling work to date! My personal precise rating is (94/100) Faves: Criyng In The Rain and Don´t Turn Away! Oct 30, 2024

완벽하다. 지금와서 painkiller 정도의 힘을 기대하는 것은 무리지만 관록과 경험으로 영그러진 놀라운 앨범을 냈다. 엔지니어링도 크게 한몫했다. Oct 31, 2024
