I find a lot of the songs have a great chorus and a so-so verse or the other way around. It doesn't rival their legendary albums, but I was pleasantly surprised it was good overall and the more industrial focus worked out OK.

Korn의 본격적인 침체기의 서막을 알린 앨범. 첫 싱글이었던 Evolution부터 이질적인 인상을 뿜어냈고 이는 곧 앨범 전체를 대변하게 되었다. David와 (지금은 다시 합류했지만)Head의 부재를 매꾸기엔 Zac의 역할이 미미했던 앨범.

보지오의 세션은 분명 경이로우나, 데이빗 실베리아만이 할 수 있었던 그 칼같이 채워넣는 그루브를 더 이상 들을 수 없게 된 것이 매우 아쉽다. 개인적으로 루지어의 스타일은 콘의 그것과는 그다지 어울리지는 않는다고 생각해서 더더욱.

전작이 팝적인 요소에 집중이 돼 있었다면 본작은 분위기나 감성적인 측면이 중심이 된 앨범이다. 초창기 음악이 끓어오르는 감정을 여과없이 방출했다면 이 앨범은 다소 진지한 분위기에서 조용히 고백하는 느낌이 강하다. 후반기 명반이라고 생각한다.
