1집하고 비교하자면 차이가 너무 난다고 할 정도이다. 사운드 메이킹, 작곡, 프로듀싱 전반적인 느낌, 전부 1집을 넉다운 시킨다. 나이트 위시 보컬 중 플로어 얀센을 적당한 보컬이라고 늘 생각하지만 역시 타르야의 역량은 무시 못하겠다. 초반기의 나이트위시는 타르야가 없었으면 힘들었지 않을까 싶을 정도.9번에서 투오마스의 건반 참 매력적임

나이트위시 최고 앨범 맑고 청량한 오페라틱 파워메탈의 진수 전곡이 고루 다좋으며 그중 에서도 7번트랙이 압권 !

이런류 보컬 극불호임에도 듣게 만드는 미친 앨범

An excellent album, and a significantly more mature and professional ensemble than the debut, although it certainly does not rank among the band's best albums. The music has become more straightforward and melodic since the debut, there are clear influences from e.g. Stratovarius. And even though Tarja Turunen's vocals have never convinced me, they fit the album's atmosphere in a certain way and give the album just the personality it needs. Great album, I highly recommend it.

The band's evolution in relation to their first album is insane. This album is excellent, it has beautiful compositions and one of the best vocal performances by the legendary Tarja Turunen. One of my favorite albums by the band.

심포닉한 감성으로 편안하게 감상하기 좋은 파워메탈. 잘 만들었지만 취향과 달라서 좀 지루했다. 89점.

32 for all time on this website? It's great, but it's not THAT great. Much improvement over the debut, and displays a wide variety of styles here, most pulled off pretty well. "Walking in the Air" is a very pleasant surprise.

Oceanborn was a great improvement in comparison with their last album, Angels Fall First. The melodies are great.

무난하게 들을만 하지만, 개인적으로 Nightwish 앨범 가운데서는 'Dark Passion Play'나 'Imaginaerum'을 훨씬 더 좋아함.

지금 시대에 소몰이 창법을 듣는 느낌. 화려함의 과잉, 유사 오페라.

처음 들었을 때 이런 그룹도 있구나 했었다. 여성보컬을 내세운 그룹이 처음이라서 신선한 충격이었다

초딩때 이 앨범과 wishmaster를 들으면서 조수미선생님이 메탈을 해주셨으면 하는 마음을 가졌었다 정말 충격인 앨범

화려한 멜로디, 황홀한 사운드, 환상적인 소프라노 보컬.. 그 모든 걸 합친 앨범이다. 그렇다고 메탈의 요소가 없는가 하면 또 그건 아니다. 제대로 달려줄때는 시원하게 달려준다. 1번, 7번, 8번, 12번 트랙이 제일 좋았다 말 그대로 정말 화려한 앨범.

진정 웰빙 파워메탈이다. 메탈의 강력함과 소프라노 창법의 우아함과 질주감, 황홀한 멜로디 등등. 너무 감칠맛 나는 앨범이다. gethsemane, sacrament of wilderness, moondance, walking in the air 를 좋게 들었다.

대중적으로 엄청난 인기를 구가하는 밴드인데, 음악을 들어보면 왜 인기가 좋은지 어렵지 않게 알수있습니다. 메탈이라는 이름을 쓰고있지만, 흔히 생각하는 헤비니스는 없으며, 악기들은 그저 어느정도 메탈에 자주 쓰이는 주법의 박력 있는 연주를 할 뿐입니다. 매니악한 장르라 여겨지는 메탈을 간접적으로 체험해 볼수있게 메탈 향신료 순한맛을 넣었습니다.

파워풀하고 화려한 멜로디, 극적인 소프라노. 황홀감이 저절로 느껴지는 앨범

환상적인 앨범커버와 그에 어울리는 음악. 나이트위시 최고의 앨범이고, 아마 팬들이 가장 좋아하는 앨범이 아닐까 생각한다. 나온 지 20년이 넘은 작품이지만 들을 때마다 Stargazers, Gethsemane, Swanheart, Moondance 등은 가슴을 울린다. 마지막 Walking In The Air에서 타르야의 목소리는 참...
