Dopesmoker

제목이 '마리화나 피는 사람'인데 자칫 괜한 오해받을 소지가 있는 앨범으로 곡이 한시간이라 굉장히 지루할수도 있겠지만 좀 참고 약간의 인내력으로 느릿느릿한 보조에 맞추다보면 어느새 빠져들기 시작하는 순간이 있음.

štvrté album "Dopesmoker" pokračuje v štýle predošlých albumov, čiže kombinácia Stoner/Sludge Metal -u. album je postavené na jednej dlhej piesni, aj keď počas počúvania albumu cca počujete, kde začína jedna pasáž a prechádza do druhej. Albumu opäť dominujú zbustrované gitary, určitá jednotvárnosť, skleslosť a monotónny spev.

I can only talk about the bliss that lasts for this whole album, but a voice inside me says it's just obvious to anyone who listens, so I don't need to say anything. Anyway, I like the cover art better with the caravan walking across the desert.

One of the best songs to put on whilst vacuuming the house or taking a nap. believed perhaps to be the essential doom record it is an epic commitment ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ(❛‿❛✿̶̥̥)ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔ(ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥

I've listened to this whole album twice while stoned to the bone. Worth listening while smoking a joint and ravaging through your favorite munchies. Overall, it's one of the few metal songs I'm aware of that doesn't have violence, gore, etc. for lyrics as this is entirely focused on the journey through a desert. It may be slow and probably unappealing without weed, but this is stoner metal! Roll a joint and put this on. It's worth the ride!
