If you haven't grabbed a The Haunted CD be sure to get this one. One of my all time favorite thrash albums. Seen them live twice. First time they were new and the second time when this album dropped. I saw the guys eating dinner before the show at a restaurant. This was in L.A. Problem was the show was sold out. I told them how much I loved their work and I'd be outside listening. There wasn't anything they could do that night but they told me and my friends if we went up to S.F. the following night they'd get us in. And they did. Super cool guys! AMAZING SHOW!!! I'll never forget their kindness in person and brutal-ness on stage. This was my favorite line up of theirs as well. I prefer a good screamer to a seasoned singer when it comes to thrash.

듣는내내 소일워크의 좋았던 앨범들이 생각났습니다. 특히 베이스는 능란함을 넘어 아주 교활하게 치내요. 너무 맘에 듭니다. 앞으로 이 밴드 좀 파볼 생각입니다

80년대 후반 스레쉬메탈 전성기시절의 사운드를 90년대의 그루브함에 실어 2000년대에 들려줌. 전반부는 매우 훌륭하지만, 후반부의 곡들은 큰 매력이 없음.

슬레이어는 21세기에 이렇게 했어야 한다. 바꿔말하면 슬레이어의 영향력 아래에 위치한 앨범으로 오리지널리티는 조금 부족하다. Seasons in the Abyss의 21세기 재 해석 작품이라면 너무 좀 그런가…? 하지만 좋은 작품인것만은 확실.

엣더게이츠 4집 때와는 달리, 클래식컬한 멜로디가 많이 배제되고 좀 더 정통에 충실하지만 많이 간략화되고 모던한 사운드를 구사한다. 모던스래쉬 필청작
