This is SeeYouSpaceCowboy’s magnum opus. In just a few years, they’ve managed to refine their sound so much, it sounds like an entirely different band. The Correlation Between Entrance And Exit Wounds was good, but raw and unpolished. This is more than polished, it’s amazingly produced. The Sgarbossa siblings absolutely tear it up vocally, with Ethan deploying a mix of beautiful cleans and devastating uncleans and Connie sticks with her unique style to create a truly 1/1 album vocally. The rest of the album is just as strong, with similarly unique atmosphere which I can’t put into words. When I started listening, I doubted it could rival some of the other metal releases this year, but it definitely does.
