핀란드산의 올드스쿨 고딕적인 색채가 묻어나는 멜데스/둠. 개인적으론 이런 앨범이 너무 좋다. 전체적으로 메킹에서 매우 고평가 되고 필자도 동의하는 고딕둠 정상 드래코니안과 흡사한 모습이 많이 보이는것을 보아 아마도 드래코니안이나 트리스타니아와 같은 류의 고딕둠에 영향을 받았나 싶지 않다. 보컬의 성량도 뛰어나고 특히 여성 보컬의 기용은 앨범의 진가를 한층 높여준다. (+고딕의 정체성까지에도 영향을 미침.) 러닝타임이 30분이라 아쉬울 줄 알았는데 생각보다 매우 알차서 오히려 그 이상이었으면 지겨웠을지도 모르겠다.
