고딕메탈? 은 또 뭔가, 별다른 지식은 없으나 뭔가 웅장하고 어둡고 느리고 피냄새(?) 적당히 나는 보컬 거기에 어딘가 중세적인 느낌까지 가미된 그런 음악정도로 상상이 된다. 그런 식으로 치자면 이 앨범은 내 선입견에 고딕메탈 앨범으로 딱 맞는 앨범이다. 앨범 쟈켓이며 밴드이름과 앨범제목, 음반을 재생시키자 마자 전개되는 어딘가 극장에서 심각한 전개가 이루어지는 듯한 음악, 거기에 느릿느릿하고 거친 보컬과 쌩뚱맞게 잘 어울리는 가녀린 여성 보컬까지, 어딘가 완성되지 못한 음악이라는 생각이 아직도 강하게 들지만 그렇다고 거부감이 심하게 들지도 않는다. 고딕메탈은 역시 나에겐 아직은 어려운 음악인것 같다. ^^;
