Well, it's no surprise considering the album cover, but I didn't know Eternal Valley had anything in this cosmic style. I already like their 2 most recent albums, and now I know they have earlier material at the same high echelon of enjoyability. A slight step below the purely excellent pure excellence that is 2021's Empire of Love, but still beautiful. This album goes everywhere; it's mostly atmospheric but it has blackgaze, post metal, ambient, and even Drum & Bass! Compared to his first full-length, this one's a little better. It starts out with touches of depressive black metal and doom on the first couple of songs, but overall this album is more ambient and kind of similar to Lustre, which is a good thing because of how great it's executed here.   Mar 22, 2022

This is good by usual standards of atmospheric black metal. Don't expect the level of pure dominance you hear on Umbras de Barbagia. 어쿠스틱 기타, 첼로, 플루트 등을 이용하여 녹음한 어쿠스틱 사운드의 작품이다. 그러나 표현하고자 하는 사운드의 방향성 자체는 무겁고 진지하다. 멜로디가 약간 서늘한 냉기를 품고 있다. 더운 여름에 들으면 시원함을 느낄 수도 있지만 대체로 가을의 분위기에 잘 어울린다. 커버아트와 음악의 매칭이 절묘하다.   Nov 4, 2024

95-100 2024년까지 나온 오케스트라와의 협연 음반 모든 것을 통틀어 최고다. 다 어설픈 편곡때문에 그냥 원곡 듣고 말지 라는 생각이 드는 반면 이 음반은 최소 제대로 만들어진 영화음악 하나 들었다 할 정도로 편곡자체가 매우 잘 되어 밴드와 오케스트라가 제대로 융화 예상과 달리 스튜디오로 앨범을 냈지만 dvd 2disc를 사면 라이브 시디가 포함되어 있는 듯 하다.   3 days ago

훌륭한 데뷰. 1집을 꼭 사야 할까라는 생각으로 살다가 이제야 얻어걸린 느낌으로 사게 되었다. 물론 1집을 필수라고 여기지 않았지만 후회도 없다. 보컬이 멤버들보다 나이가 10여살 많은 걸로 기억하고 게디리의 좀 더 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각이 든다. 다만 믹싱이 마음에 들지 않아서 살짝 밋밋하다. 보컬과 드럼이 살짝 뒤로 간 느낌.리믹스가 절실하나 과연?   Nov 7, 2024
