Super line-up ever. I was very curious bout what Orlando was up to but he was reloading here. Didn’t expect it, but I think we met good luck. Great for debut album. Album cover and logo r look like tekken series. Sep 8, 2024

As guitarras são enjoativas mas sempre competentes, e os vocais parecem estar tentando adequar um rap ao death metal Sep 8, 2024

Nice variety on this album. It leans mostly toward heavy metal, but the riffing mostly stays thrashy. There are some proggy moments as well. Cool to see this project grow so much in just a couple of years. Sep 8, 2024

Pretty good, but not as great as their reputation had me expecting. Then again, I really loved the crazy vocal power at the end of the last song, which I was also enjoying the most anyway. Sep 8, 2024

It starts out pretty good, but the 2nd half of the album is a lot better. One of many good albums by this excellent band. Sep 8, 2024

With the unmistakable talent this guy has for creating dark & bleak outbursts of aggression that combine with ethereal atmospheres, it's a real shame he just keeps starting these very cathartic combinations and then just retreats back to ambience and field recordings. It's a constant starting and stopping and nothing progresses to the next step so the good moments feel too isolated. Such a disjointed album and a waste of his skills. Sep 8, 2024

Excellent albums like this give legitimate reason to consider that current NWOTHM music is actually better than the 80s metal it imitates due to hindsight and all. The guy from Fen and Fellwarden is in this group, and that should signal some high quality to metalheads who are in the know. Sep 8, 2024

The best dissonant album I tried this week. Something about this album feels especially smooth. I don't know if this is due to recording expertise or just masterful control by the musicians over timing or something else. Anyway, this album was a real treat, and I look forward to listening to anything by them again soon. Sep 8, 2024

Good bombastic & epic music here, but it's such an awkward combination. It's like the orchestrations are by some elderly master composer of classical music, and the lyrics, themes, & concepts are by an eleven-year-old boy who is proving to us that dragons are really really cool. Some of the voiceovers actually had me laughing and holding my head. Anyway, still pretty good. Sep 8, 2024

I just love this soundscape to death. The song structures don't go much of anywhere though, so it becomes more of background instead of telling a musical story. Of course, I'll always try anything created by Sxuperion, but he's done much better than this. Sep 8, 2024

Pretty good avant-garde somewhat proggy blackened death metal. I liked Psychagogue slightly more. Sep 8, 2024

I'm trying to get a handle on the current trend for dissonance. This was a good example of that trend. Track 7 stands out as ambitious and awe-inspiring. Good blackened death metal album. Sep 8, 2024

Maturation of their style and great production value. Contains some of the better songs by the band, such as "Sharpen the Guillotine" and "Downfall of a Nation". Very powerful and bound to please anyone looking for good thrash metal. Sep 8, 2024

Truly a legendary thrash metal album whose only complaint is the "not so good" recording quality Sep 8, 2024

Me parece uma mistura que resulta num quase thrash, alguns interessantes e outros nem tanto Sep 8, 2024

Definitely good. Of course I've heard the gajillions of voices telling about how they like this one even more than I do. I don't want to ruin their fun, but for me it's just good - not in the great zone. Sep 8, 2024

A very dependable band, and this might be the best I've heard from them yet. A Nails album is a very succinct and gratifying experience. This makes it easy to call it a required listen for 2024. Sep 8, 2024

Nov 4, 2024

Their most representative album of the eighties, full of innovation and class, with forceful themes and a benchmark in style for the hard rock genre, in fact it is their best-selling work to date! My personal precise rating is (94/100) Faves: Criyng In The Rain and Don´t Turn Away! Oct 30, 2024

완벽하다. 지금와서 painkiller 정도의 힘을 기대하는 것은 무리지만 관록과 경험으로 영그러진 놀라운 앨범을 냈다. 엔지니어링도 크게 한몫했다. Oct 31, 2024
