Hoffman 형제가 참여한 마지막 앨범 입니다.7집 이후로 새로운 기타리스트 가 들어오는데 카르카스의 아류로 만들어 버립니다.글렌이 스스로 무덤을 판 셈이죠. 이 앨범에서 가장 두드러진 특징은 6집앨범때의 막장을 이 앨범으로 한번에 만해를 했다는 점이 두드러지게 보여집니다.특유의 밴드만의 스타일을 찾았다고 해도 과언이 아닐정도로 유연한 전개가 인상적으로 다가옵니다.

오리지널 라인업은 이 앨범이 마지막인데, 이후에 호프만 형제 2명이 동시에 나가 버렸다... 유튜브에서 들어보니 다음 앨범들도 평균이상은 하는거 같아서, 전부 구입으로 마음이 바뀌었다. 매우 짧은 러닝타임이 아쉽지만 거의 이 앨범만 잠시 스피드가 엄청 빨라진다. ps 202501 오랜시간에 걸쳐 2CD버젼과 오리지날1CD도 재구입 했다.

1~2집의 서슬퍼런 난도질 사운드를 생각하면 무리겠지만 호프만 형제의 마지막 참여작이란 의미와 전작의 부진함을 나름 씻어주는 작품이라 만족하게 들었다! 벤튼의 두가지 맛 보컬도 꽤 들어줄만 하다.

사람 귀라는 게 참 신기하다. 이 앨범을 처음 들었을 땐 그냥 평작이네 했는데 최근에 똥작을 듣고 다시 들어보니 정말 죽이는 앨범으로 들린다. 개인적으로 글렌벤튼의 스크리밍 자체로 보면 좋아하긴 하지만 Deicide에겐 불필요해 보인다.

은근히 매력적인 앨범. 1, 2번 트랙만으로도 충분히 만족스럽다. 특히 Mad At God은 이보다 더 증오에 넘치는 노래가 있을지 의문스러울 정도.
