Testimony of the Ancients

My favorite album by Pestilence. The vocals suit more to the style of music than those of MVD. The whole album is well built and keeps the listener interested througout.

pestilence의 3집은 내게는 오히려 2집 Consuming Impulse 보다 훨씬 더 귀에 잘 들어왔다. 전작의 그 무지막지함에 유려함과 감성을 더 추가한 듯한 느낌이다. (7번곡 Land of Tears의 기타솔로, 13번 곡의 피아노를 들어보라.) 조여대는 리프와 변화가득한 현란함 속에 터지는 기타, 더이상 무슨 말이 이 앨범에 필요하겠는가. 세련된 데스메탈이란 이런 것이 아닐런지.

album obsahuje taktiež kopec kvalitných riffov a gitarových vyhrávok, oproti predchodcovi je ešte viac technické a pestrejšie, avšak nestráca na tvrdosti. Dokonca aj Mameliho growling je podarený

Albeit a bit subpar compared to Pestilence's second effort, still a very solid album with a bunch of great songs. Tony Choy's basswork was a cool addition to the old Pestilence sound.

1,3,5,7 기타 솔로가 아주 죽인다. 진국이다~~

세련된 데스메탈이다. 키보드 사용이라는 측면을 제하고라도 곡 구성이라던지 악기 활용이 마음에 든다. 하지만 중간중간 소품트랙들의 사용이 너무 과하다 싶다.
