어두운 블랙메틀? 과 둠메틀의 요소를 약간씩 혼합한 모습을 보여주는 Austere 의 데뷔앨범 입니다.건조하면서도 난해한 모습도 더러 보이는 이 앨범은 Funeral Mourning 의 Desolate/Sorrow 두 사람이 만든 프로젝트 밴드 입니다. 보이스에서 보여지는 전형적인 스크리밍 보이스가 아닌 약간 Burzum 의 2집 앨범 의 보이스 느낌이 조금 나는 편이며 약간 산만한 전개가 아쉬웠습니다.
