Lizzy Borden은 기이한 밴드라고 할 수 있겠다. 외양은 Alice Cooper나 Kiss의 영향을 받아 화려하게 치장하고 있지만, 그 내용물을 잘 살펴보면 밴드의 작품은 요란한 외관과는 괴리감이 느껴진다. 내용물은 Glam Metal적인 요소가 아주 없는 것은 아니지만, Iron Maiden이나 Judas Priest처럼 진지한 헤비 메탈 사운드가 자리잡고 있다. 약간 사운드가 가벼운 맛이 나기는 하지만 이들의 연주는 글램 메탈로 분류되는 밴드들 중에서도 가장 테크니컬 하다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 경향은 데뷔 앨범 Love You to Pieces에서도 나타났지만, 그 후속작인 Menace to Society에도 그대로 드러나 있다. 이번 작품은 전작과 거의 비슷한 양태를 보이고 있지만, 약간의 변화가 눈에 띈다. 거의 Speed Metal을 연상시킬 정도로 빨라졌을 뿐만 아니라 리프 전개나 멜로디도 이전작에서보다 과격해졌다. 밴드의 이러한 변화는 좀더 강력한 메탈 사운드를 선호하던 젊은 메탈헤드들에게 어필했다. 물론 밴드가 이전보다 팬 베이스의 규모가 커졌다고 해도 Lizzy Borden은 컬트 밴드에 불과하다. 그러나 컬트 밴드 치고는 메이져 밴드 못지않은 실력과 퍼포먼스를 지닌 밴드로 점차 알려져 나갔다.
