Angel Dust의 매력 중 하나는 헤비함과 서정성을 동시에 갖춘 점이라 할 수 있다. 이 엘범에서는 이러한 색깔이 더욱 뚜렷해 지는데 그러다 보니 서정성을 강조한 파트와 헤비함이 강조된 파트의 편차와 간극이 더욱 벌어진다. 그 틈에서 드라마틱한 감동을 유발하기 위함이었겠지만, 다소 늘어지는 부분 또한 느껴짐이 아쉽다.
훌륭한 엘범을 감상할 때, 한 곡도 넘김없이 즐겁게 들을 수 있어야 할 지언데, 때때로 몇몇 트렉을 넘기고 싶은 기분이 드는 것이다.
그러나 아이러니하게도, 호쾌한 매력은 오히려 이들의 엘범 중에서도 손꼽힌다. 그야말로 이들의 출중한 매력이 잘 들어나고 있는, 구태의연하지만 [서정성과 박진감의 조화가 탁월한 수작]이라 하겠다.
