Very impressed with this album. Although I wasn't very familiar with them before, there's now a reason to add them to the current playlists. This album is a non-stop, hard hitting style with just the right amount of funk on the snare hits.   Apr 11, 2024

I never really got into this band until I saw them live. After that, instantly hooked. This release doesn't disappoint and make s a great follow up to the last. One of my favorite bands. This song has all the stomping riffs and bass drops, but leaves me feeling unfulfilled since it's only 1:39 long. This is probably more of a "Take this song for now" to show they're still writing material, but this is an overall low effort hit and miss at the same time. Do better, Gutrectomy.   Jan 13, 2024

I suppose it's nice for the band to be exploring other genres (their last 2 albums), but if this album doesn't go down as the biggest "Thank God they went back to this style," I don't know what could beat it. The pinnacle of intense metal. Not a bad song on the album, and they're one of the best bands to see live. This album is the best piece of work I've heard in a long time, especially in the midst of all the garbage symphonic trends and other gimmicks. At the end of the day, this band has what every band should have... a solid core and a mission to induce everyone to allow them to be an outlet for the rage and raw aggression. This is the album you play when you get tired of all the "cookie cutter, everything is the same" music being released lately. This ED release is a formidable opponent to any of the bands labeled "the heaviest" nowadays. 100% dislike this trend of symphonic elements and clean singing. I know I'm not alone in this feeling of disappointment rising from high expectations from the former vocalist of Suffokate. Although there are many who like this sound, I believe this is just a passing phase in deathcore and will go out as fast as it saturated the market.   Mar 28, 2023

This is a great example of a certain throwback style of death metal. The vocalist of Molder reminds me of the earlier recordings (Screaming Bloody Gore and Leprosy, and some of Spiritual Healing) of Chuck Schuldiner from Death. The raw riffs of this album reach their peak in "Relentless Pestilence." Overall, a good listen from beginning to end.   Mar 28, 2023

This is a pretty standard issue release for Steel Panther. Basic riffs and moderate tempo hair metal with sexual content. The usual 2-3 good songs can be found in between all the other filler songs, but overall, nothing to see here.   Mar 1, 2023

bathory 특유의 어두운 쓰래시의 맛이 후기에 완성시킨 바이킹 메탈과의 혼합된 작품. 가오 잡는 바이킹메탈이 아닌 바이킹을 정말 잘알고 좋아하던 블랙/쓰래시 밴드의 작품이라고 보면 된다. 앨범 제목부터가 가오에 지배되었고 a fine day to die라는 명곡이 탄생했다. 남자의 앨범이에여ㅎㅎ   Dec 9, 2024

아주 좋다. 그동안 AILD 앨범을 정주행하면 타이틀곡 포함 몇곡을 제외하고는 별로였던 경우가 많은데, 이 앨범은 오히려 싱글 이상으로 앨범 퀄리티가 뛰어나다. 듣기도 좋고 AILD 전매특허 메탈코어를 잘 즐길 수 있는 수작이나… 이 라인업이 고작 3년만에 해산되었다는게 아쉬울 뿐이다. 앞으로 이들의 미래는 어떨지, 그야말로 Through Storms Ahead할지 궁금하다.   Nov 21, 2024

여전히 Opeth는 Opeth입니다. Ghost 앨범을 기점으로 서서히 희석되기 시작한 데스메탈의 색채가 거의 20여년의 시간을 지나 다시 돌아왔습니다. 간단히 비교하자면 In Cauda Venenum 앨범에 Watershed 스타일을 한 스푼 넣은듯합니다 10집 이후부터 보여준 아트 록 적인 Opeth의 음악과 Damnation 앨범 이후의 스타일이 조화로이 엮여진 여전히 Opeth 라는 이름에 걸맞는 작품입니다.   Nov 30, 2024

80-90 크로스오버 스래쉬 밴드는 많이 갖고 있지 않은데 이 밴드는 좀 더 날카로운 면이 많은 듯. 2008~2011년도부터 리마스터본에 plague ep가 더 들어가는데 2011년도 버전은 odeon 라이브에서 일부 곡을 더 넣어줘서 총 24곡이 들어간다. 앨범 타이틀이 game over이지만 game over는 이 앨범에 들어가지 않는다   Dec 4, 2024
