Another guitar hero album with plenty of neoclassical riffs and progressive technicality. Chastain sounds a bit different from others such as MacAlpine and Moore; he sticks to basic rock instrumentation, but he really does a good job of speaking with his guitar. Never noodling mindlessly, he crafts specific moods and changes it up between blazing technicality and slow sustained melodies. Similar to his work in Chastain, just instrumental and more progressive, but in terms of quality it’s on par with his successful USPM band.

No weak songs, all are great, mid-paced examples of quality 80’s guitar hero riffage.
