둠메탈이라는 장르는 극단적으로 느리다는 인식이 있지만 이 앨범을 들어보면 꼭 그렇지만도 않다. 물론 천천히 갈때는 블랙사바스의 1집의 생각나기도 하지만 묵직함을 유지한 상태로 미들~하이 템포로 달려주는 파트도 꽤나 많다. 멜랑콜리하면서 요상한 분위기의 리프/멜로디가 마음에 들고 그로울링과 클린의 중간 지점에 포지션을 잡은 Dorrian의 보컬도 인상적이다. 이제보면 꽤나 잘 만든 앨범인데 예전에는 왜 그리 지루하게 느껴졌는지 모르겠다. 88.5점.

Cathedral’s sophomore album is a slight transition from their purely Doomy debut. Never thought I would say this, but the Stoner tinge added here definitely improves the album.
