Really disappointed in this album. Of the 5 new songs, for only two of them to actually be heavy and comparable to the old Paleface style is a let down. Enough? and Youth Decay are some of my least favorite songs they've ever released and I'm not a fan of this nu-metal direction they're going. Nothing really wrong with it, but definitely not unique. They do have some songs with a nice range of sounds. I like how groove based Lust for the Severed Head is, and Weaker Wolves is straight up heavy and I have no complaints there. I prefer it to their 2022 album, but I have never been a fan of this particular basic deathcore sound   Nov 4, 2024

I'll be honest I really like this album because I always liked Slayer but never liked Tom Araya's voice that much. I appreciate how King didn't try to completely deviate from the sound everyone likes. I love his style of playing.   Oct 31, 2024

i love this album!!! i do think it fits the sound of melodic death metal rather than technical death, mainly because many of the songs have a hook-like quality to them and fit the more defined song structure of melo-death. that being said, it's fantastic!! i love how fast and brutal it is. i like the lyrical themes and the drumming is amazing! everything in this album is on point.   Oct 25, 2024

love the heaviness and the deathcore vocals in this one. not a huge INK fan so i was pleasantly surprised by this. the only thing that really bothers me is the random interlude of the woman singing and the lyrics are pretty bland. otherwise it think its a fun way to pay tribute to the terrifier movie.   Oct 24, 2024

this album has one of the best overall sounds i have ever heard. i love that it's fast, but brutal as hell and so well mixed. i also like the sort of traditional lyrical themes. it really feels like they took a thrash foundation and built upon it. it sounds both modern and timeless. the only weak point are the vocals in my opinion, but i think thats personal preference   Sep 5, 2024

Real mixed feelings about this album. I'm just not a fan of Corey's clean vocals. The songs are not bad and the instrumental parts are great, but the cleans kinda ruin a lot of the songs for me. I can't believe he hyped up a less than 2.5 minute song this much. I'm just not impressed. The song is mainly about Alex's vocals at the expense of the other members. Like Alex is incredibly talented, but he is also not the most talented member of this band. There's so little guitar in this song it hurts. And Evgeny also got slighted, which is too bad because I love his drumming. They need to pull it together for the next album tbh   Feb 29, 2024
