There's a very nice album sound to this one. Toward the end some songs get really bluesy. Partly blackened, but a lot more death metal. I enjoyed everything I heard, but didn't enjoy anything a ton. This is the new project by the artist behind Veldes. Style-wise, it's rather similar except that it focuses on more hopeful feelings and less on pain. This album deserved the commercial success it gained the band. These guys convey that mechanical industrial feeling so well through their songwriting & musical phrasing. Definitely good throughout but, to be honest, when I heard the title track on the radio I didn't think this album was going to be this good. For me, most songs are better than Survive, so it was a pleasant surprise. One of the best albums this year, one of Drudkh's best ever, and one of their heaviest too. All the songs are great, and track 4, at 15 minutes, is the biggest, most powerful, and most amazing. It also kinda looks like Drudkh is surpassing the best of the 2nd wave Norwegian bands in terms of musical accomplishment, influence, and relevance. It is hard however to think about the quality of the music while feeling the insane levels of emotion that this album brings you to. It has heavy, soft, weird, & everything in between. Such a vicious album, and the singer's adrenaline is like a roaring fire that engulfs him and the listener. I think this is equal to Spectral Wound's 2021 album, with a similar feel. I totally love the instrumentation on this album, including the composition. I had to take off some points due to the vocals though. These very brutal growls have no variation that I can discern, and for most of the album they just come in again & again with no break. Do death metal fans prefer vocals like that?   Nov 11, 2022

The world was pure paradise when White Pony was released. I bought the red version immediately, which has The Boy's Republic as the last track. 어쿠스틱 기타, 첼로, 플루트 등을 이용하여 녹음한 어쿠스틱 사운드의 작품이다. 그러나 표현하고자 하는 사운드의 방향성 자체는 무겁고 진지하다. 멜로디가 약간 서늘한 냉기를 품고 있다. 더운 여름에 들으면 시원함을 느낄 수도 있지만 대체로 가을의 분위기에 잘 어울린다. 커버아트와 음악의 매칭이 절묘하다.   Nov 4, 2024

95-100 2024년까지 나온 오케스트라와의 협연 음반 모든 것을 통틀어 최고다. 다 어설픈 편곡때문에 그냥 원곡 듣고 말지 라는 생각이 드는 반면 이 음반은 최소 제대로 만들어진 영화음악 하나 들었다 할 정도로 편곡자체가 매우 잘 되어 밴드와 오케스트라가 제대로 융화 예상과 달리 스튜디오로 앨범을 냈지만 dvd 2disc를 사면 라이브 시디가 포함되어 있는 듯 하다.   3 days ago

훌륭한 데뷰. 1집을 꼭 사야 할까라는 생각으로 살다가 이제야 얻어걸린 느낌으로 사게 되었다. 물론 1집을 필수라고 여기지 않았지만 후회도 없다. 보컬이 멤버들보다 나이가 10여살 많은 걸로 기억하고 게디리의 좀 더 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각이 든다. 다만 믹싱이 마음에 들지 않아서 살짝 밋밋하다. 보컬과 드럼이 살짝 뒤로 간 느낌.리믹스가 절실하나 과연?   Nov 7, 2024
