SlothLord 75/100Pacing is a strong element that Ingested has always been successful with and that is showcased in the first half, especially. However that sort of takes a turn by the end with last part of the album drags into a death doom metal sound. An experiment that could have worked better if they had a little bit more aggression in them to blend with the rest of the album’s tone. bogny 75/100전작이 내겐 후기작중 최고였기에 신작의 기대치가 높았다. 그 기대에는 포트노이의 유무가 중요하지 않았다. 굳이 잘 하던 맨지니를 좋은 모습으로 애써 포장하여 내보내고 포트노이가 다시 왔으면 더 칼을 갈고 만들었어야 할 앨범이었다. 그저 뭔가 보여줘야 겠다는 포트노이의 압박감만 느껴졌다. 또한 라브리에의 보컬이 바꿔놓은 음악의 방향도 아쉽다. Feb 11, 2025

5 likes 콜렉터 85/100포트노이가 복귀하며 전성기 라인업의 음악 (5-10집)과 그동안 달라진 음악 (11-15집)이 적절히 융합된 느낌이다. 다만 "합쳐봐서 어떤 음악이 나오나 한번 뽑아봤어" 하는 느낌이 강하지 최선의 결과물은 아직 아닌 것 같은 느낌이다. 이런 이유로 다음 앨범이 더욱 기대가 되게 만드는 음반인 것 같다. DT음반 카탈로그 중 중위권에 속할 음반인 것 같다. Feb 11, 2025

5 likes 쇽흐 95/100전자음악 수준의 앨범을 내버리며 너무 멀리 가버린 Beast in black의 행보와는 다르게, 댄서블한 터치와 메탈의 균형을 여전히 훌륭히 잡아내고 있다. 싱글컷 된 세 곡의 퀄리티가 상대적으로 낮아보일 정도로 앨범이 전체적으로 아주 잘 뽑혔는데, 특히 이번 앨범에서 닐스의 보컬은 거의 뭐 작두를 타는 수준이다. 라이브 영상이 기대된다(내한 좀ㅠㅠ). Feb 21, 2025

FOAD 95/100참 이때 당시의 드림씨어터는 곡 전개 방식이나 멜로디는 가히 최고였다고 말해도 과언이 아니다. 좀 심플해진 곡들로 이질적인 성격을 가졌음은 분명하나 보다 여유로운 느낌으로 오히려 집중력는 더욱 좋았다고 할 수 있다. 존 명의 베이스 라인을 감상하기에는 전집을 통틀어 가장 좋으며 들을 수록 점점 더 좋아지는 그들의 가장 저 평가된 명작. Feb 23, 2025
5 likes Lune 70/100반복해서 들으면 생각이 바뀔지 모르겠으나 지금의 감상으론 그냥 딱 평범한 수준의 앨범이라는 생각이 든다. 다른 리뷰들에도 많이 지적하는 5번 곡은 좋지 않은 의미로 메탈리카가 연상되는 곡이다. 지난 앨범까지만 해도 보컬만 바뀐다면 더 낫지 않았을까 하는 아쉬움과 기대감이 남아있었다면, 이번 앨범을 통해 더 이상 갈 곳 없는 한계점이란걸 느꼈다. Feb 9, 2025

똘복이 90/100거칠기 그지없던, 정말 올드 블랙틱하기까지 했던 초창기의 사운드가 원시성과 야만성을 충분히 살린 채 정제된 3집. 이들의 명반에 들어가야 한다는 데엔 이견이 없다. 듣다보면 3집까지의 시간동안 이들에게도 여유와 관록이 붙었음을 연주력에서 확실히 느낄 수 있다. 아울러 아직까지는 타협치 않는다는 어떠한 고집도 느끼게 된다. 추억이 방울방울하네. Mar 2, 2025
