The band's sound seems to maturate since the first albums, not that it's better than their previous work, but it's a more open and varied album that involves elements of prog alongside with a great amount of blues and hard rock. Some songs like the poppy "Mine All Mine" and "Source of Infection" don't do the album justice, but the other songs are solid enough. Special mention goes to "AFU" and "Cabo Wabo". But the best tracks were yet to come:
"Feels So Good" is really nice to listen to. It has a cool prog vibe.
"Black and Blue" is amazing. That groovy sound gets me every time. The best songs for me.
"A Apolitical Blues" is a decent blues song.

"OU812" (pronounced "Oh You Ate One Too") is Van Halen's eighth studio album and second album to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar. Album is dedicated to Eddie and Alex's father, Jan, who died on December 9, 1986, at the age of 66. It is another album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard music charts.

글쎄... 1번부터 더블베이스드러밍이 나오며 기대감을 증폭시켰지만, 기억에 남는 트랙은 전혀 없다. 멜로디도 그닥인듯. 미국식이라 안맞는건지, 메탈이 아니라서 안맞는건지, 새미헤이거가 나랑 안맞는건지 모르겠다.
